The Town Concept
November 5, 2009
I am attempting with this RKC to not only create a themed hood, although not historical, but one that is more integrated. I want all businesses to be owned, and am mixing community buildings in with residential buildings on the same lot. I can not for the life of me remember where I got the buyable community lots, and if anyone does now, leave a message because I’m missing half of them. So far I have the bones of the main residential town area done, and have fully finished the Magistrate, Chaucer Doyle’s, home.

As soon as you come into the town you see the Magistrate, Chaucer Doyle’s home, which is next to the Graveyard. Connected to that is the town church and orphanage.

Across you can see two apartment village houses (the wooden buildings) and the main town center with the general store and bookstore. In the background you can see the second lot I’m working on, which will hold more of the community buildings.

This is the view looking towards the central square from the graveyard. Keep in mind that all of these houses and rabbitholes are on the same lot.

This is inside the Magistrate’s home. I tried to capture the decor of a small vicar’s home in an English or Scottish village.
